Secretariat Director for Stewardship, Development and Communications
Executive Director for the Catholic Foundation – Diocese of Austin
Scott joined the diocese in 2003 and presently serves as the Secretariat Director for Stewardship, Development and Communications and Executive Director for the Catholic Foundation – Diocese of Austin. He oversees all areas of stewardship and development in the diocese. Scott’s areas of focus are supporting parishes and schools in conducting capital campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, and endowment management.
Scott is an active volunteer at his parish, St. Vincent de Paul, served on the International Catholic Stewardship Council Board of Directors, and is board president for Hand to Hold, a non-profit that serves to educate the public about infant prematurity and infant loss. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and loves Aggie football. He and his wife, Kathryn, have six children, four of whom attend Holy Family Catholic School and one at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School.
Associate Director, Catholic School Marketing and Development
Andrea joined the Stewardship and Development Office in 2016. She focuses on supporting all 22 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Austin in their efforts to plan and initiate all areas of admissions and advancement. In service to the schools, she coordinates a Best Practices Development Summit in the Fall and a wonderful Celebrating Catholic Schools Gala in the winter. Through engagement and strong relationships, Andrea supports the diocese and Catholic Schools office with an annual appeal, volunteer management, and direct marketing efforts.
Andrea has spent the last 16 years supporting the advancement needs of Catholic organizations, schools, and parishes. She has a BA in Organizational Communications and a minor in Journalism from CSU, Stanislaus, California. Relocated from the Bay Area to Austin in 2015, Andrea spends most of her free time seeking new adventures in food, geography, and art with her husband, Vito, and seven children.
Associate Director Catholic Services Appeal
Lisa manages the Catholic Services Appeal, supervises the donor services team and oversees the database.
Lisa joined the diocese after 25 years of sales management experience in the high-tech industry. She came to Austin from her home in Chicago. She received a BS in psychology from Illinois State University and an MSI in human resources from California State University, Long Beach. Lisa enjoys golf, landscaping and not sitting still!
Associate Director Stewardship
Margaret joined the Stewardship and Development office in April 2012. She manages diocesan stewardship initiatives, assists with the implentation of the pastoral plan and oversees special programs, projects and committees within the office.
Margaret is a native Texan and a member of St. John Neumann Parish. She and her husband, Lance, have three grown children. They enjoy cooking and spending time with her their families.
Senior Data Entry Clerk
Sonia joined the Stewardship and Development office in 2007. Sonia provides quality customer service to donors and parishes. She is responsible for processing and recording campaign pledges and contributions as well as responding to donors’ inquiries. She also updates and maintains campaign records in our database.
Sonia was born in Austin, Texas and has lived here all her life. She is a single parent and loves spending quality time with her son at St. Mary's University in San Antonio. In her spare time, she enjoys baking cakes, cupcakes and cookies for her family and friends.
Data Entry Clerk
Malissa joined the Stewardship and Development office in 2014. She is responsible for processing and recording campaign pledges and contributions as well as responding to donors’ inquiries.
Malissa was born in Austin and has lived in Buda for most of her life. She is a single parent of one daughter,and a spoiled puppy name Sammy. Malissa is the grandmother of 2 boys that she loves to spend time with. She is currently enrolled in online classes for medical coding. In her spare time, Malissa loves art, music, movies.
Laurie joined the Stewardship & Development office in April 2016. She provides administrative support for the department.
Laurie grew up in Del Rio, and has just recently relocated to Austin. She received a double Bachelors of Arts in Theater and Music from Angelo State University. She has a dog at home named Orlando, and in her free time enjoys music, movies, theater and video games.
