13. When does the decision become final?

When and if both the Diocese of Austin and the Appellate Court in Galveston-Houston give affirmative decisions (meaning that the marriage in question was invalid), both you and your former spouse will be free to enter into a new marriage in the Catholic Church (unless other marriage cases are pending). At this point the decision of the case is final.
