February is Black History Month and Holy Cross Parish in Austin is celebrating with a series of presentations on the theme of African Americans and Labor. All are welcome to a presentation on Diversity in the Workplace - Navigating and Networking immediately following the parish's 10 a.m. Mass.
Holy Qurbono (Holy Mass) in the Syro-Malankara Catholic Rite is celebrated every third Sunday of the month at the chapel of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Pflugerville at 3:30 p.m. The celebrant of the Holy Mass is Father Saji Lukose, associate pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish.
Czech Mass - Vítame Vás na Corn Hill:
In February we celebrate the Feast Day of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, patron saints of the Czech Republic and patron saint of Slavic peoples. In honor of these saints a bi-lingual Czech/English Mass will be celebrated February 16 at 5 p.m., at Holy Trinity Parish in Corn Hill. After Mass, a dinner will be served in the Parish Activity Center. Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate this special feast day of Sts. Cyril and Methodius.
