During the month of October, the church has celebrated Respect Life Month helping Catholics understand, value and engage in building a culture that cherishes every human life. From conception to natural death and all challenges that face many of our brothers and sisters in their lifetime, unplanned pregnancies, homelessness, hunger or addiction, the church remains committed to upholding human dignity.
We must remember that Living the Gospel of Life does not begin and end in October, we are called to live that commitment every day. Each day, we have the opportunity to extend our hearts and our hands to help our neighbors. Your prayers and financial support make it possible to continue our pro-life work and I pray that, as we are asked to support the Catholic Services Appeal, we discern how best to carry out the mission of Christ in the world today.
In communion with our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, may you continue to be blessed and called to live and share the Word of God.
