Tribunal business during 2017 holiday season

The Canonical & Tribunal Services Department has a special concern that parties to matrimonial nullity cases not have their Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas seasons interrupted by ongoing tribunal business. Accordingly, to avoid a party receiving a citation, request for testimony, or final decision during these seasons, the Tribunal will be placing a pause on the processing of new matrimonial nullity cases and issuing case correspondence. New matrimonial nullity cases received after November 15, 2017, will be processed starting on January 2, 2018. Case correspondence with the parties will pause between December 11, 2017, and on January 1, 2018, per instruction of the Judicial Vicar's memorandum.
