Cedarbrake Retreat | Catholic Deacons Dan Lupo and Rod Reyna, healing prayer ministers from the Mercy of God Prayer Center in Austin, will explain the scriptural roots of Jesus' healing mission, review current Catholic-based efforts to continue that mission and demonstrate the practice of healing prayer.
The summer silent retreat is an opportunity to learn more about God and yourself. Talks, holy Mass, adoration, confession and an option for spiritual direction will be part of this retreat. Fr. Harry Dean and Brian Egan will lead this retreat. One may choose from two to five nights.
Cedarbrake Retreat | A three-day retreat for young adults and adults with divorced or separated parents. It invites participants to move through the broken image of love that appeared to them in their parent’s relationship to their deepest identity found in God. The retreat gives participants a greater understanding of the wound of divorce and how it affects their lives, offers advice about the difficulties concerning love and trust of others, and explains how the Catholic faith, spiritual practices, and the Sacraments are essential to self-knowledge and healing.
Cedarbrake Retreat | Change is inevitable; handling it with faith, courage and awareness is a choice. Join Beverly Collin, former assistant director at Cedarbrake, as she invites participants to explore ways to grow closer to God amid life’s transitions.
Cedarbrake Retreat | We each are members -bodies- who are broken and part of the whole. Join author Sr. Julia Walsh for a time of reflection centered on exploring the sacredness of brokenness, paths to healing and integration, and our call to communion. Come pray and gain encouragement so that you can see how your brokenness can serve the common good and help build the reign of God.
