Parish and School Grant ProgramThrough the CSA Parish and School Grant Program, parishes and schools receive $150,000 in grants for parish operations and tuition assistance. Parishes earn tickets for achieving various milestones during the appeal. Bishop Vásquez picks the winning tickets at a reception in their honor in October.

Please note this page is updated annually. We are currently in the 2022-2023 Catholic Services Appeal year. The current deadline for the Parish Grant Program ticket initiative is June 5, 2023.

St. Mary Our Lady of the Lake Parish

St. Mary Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Lago Vista was awarded the $10,000 CSA grant at the reception. The parish renovated the inside of the church by replacing the chairs with pews, installing new flooring and freshly painted the interior. The parishioners are excited about the renovation and were grateful for the CSA funding.

Catholic Schools

The CSA awarded $30,000 in grants to our Catholic Schools for tuition assistance for 12 students and school operations.

Holy Trinity Parish
-
Holy Trinity Parish, Llano was thrilled to receive the $7,500 CSA grant! The funds were utilized in the purchase and renovation of a nearby house that was transformed to a new parish office Fr. Red Blevins blessed the office in for their open house in March.

Deanery Grant
-
The Waco Deanery achieved the highest percentage of their CSA goal. The deanery was awarded a $10,000 grant to be used at their discretion. They voted to share their generosity with those in need in Waco area to include Sisters of Mary Morning Star, the Red-C Radio and St. Louis and St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Schools.
