DCYC Registration
- The Diocese of Austin would like to offer diocesan youth the opportunity to participate in the Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference (DCYC) experience with the assistance of their families and parish. It is with this commitment and contribution from our scholarship fund that we would like to give young people an opportunity to apply. This application may only be filled out and submitted by the parish youth minister or parish representative appointed by the pastor. Parents should contact the parish DCYC representative for information on scholarships.
  Student Criteria
  Student (s) must
  should attend and actively participate in parish programming;
  show a desire to attend the event;
  should express to the youth minister/pastor how attending this program will assist them in growing deeper in their faith;
  must be of high school age; adult chaperones cannot apply for scholarships;
  scholarship is for the cost of registration only {Scholarship does not include housing, travel, or additional meals};
  the student understands that failure to participate in or attend DCYC fully will make them ineligible to apply for future scholarship assistance;.
  request must be pre-approved by parish youth minister and pastor.
  
  Parish Considerations
  Scholarships are awarded toward the event registration cost ONLY. {Scholarship does not include housing, travel, or additional meals}
  Each application must be pre-approved by the parish youth minister and pastor.
  Each parish can be granted no more than five (5) scholarships.
  Application Deadline is January 5, 2025; forms received after this date will not be considered.
  Scholarship forms must be completed and returned to the Diocese of Austin using only the registration form below.
  Form should be completed only by the parish by Youth Minister or Appointed DCYC Coordinator.
  Each parish may submit only one application with up to 5 scholarship requests; multiple applications will not be accepted.
  Late registration fees or substitution fees are not included in scholarship awards.
  Scholarship awards are non-transferable.
  
  The youth minister submitting the request will receive notification of scholarship(s) award by January 10, 2025. When paying, please deduct the scholarship request from the number of paid participants. Should you have any questions, please contact Tressi Breecher via email at [email protected].
