August 1, 2019 (Th), 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. In all kinds of organizations and ministry groups, persons bring differing temperaments, communication styles, and ideas, often resulting in conflict. In some cases conflict can bring about positive change leading to fruitful collaboration, or it can negatively affect and even shut down the collaborative process altogether. In this course we will discover how we ourselves at times become agents that create unnecessary conflict, as well as learning different strategies for dealing with “difficult” people and how to address conflict without confrontation.
