Keynote Address by Kathyrn Whitaker
Kathryn Whitaker is the author of Live Big, Love Bigger, a book about living an intentional, hell yes, kind of life. She’s a sixth-generation Texan who was raised as an evangelical Protestant and then converted to Catholicism on the eve of her wedding. On social media and her blog, Kathryn shares her honest take on family life and living the Gospel, all while drinking Dr Pepper and cheering on the Texas Aggies. Kathryn and her husband, Scott, live with their six children in Austin, Texas. Join her as she speaks about how women respond with love to God’s people.
Panel Discussion
Women called to accomplish the works of God through consecrated and married life will discuss their Response of Faith to the unique call the Lord has on women’s lives. Our esteemed panelists will offer insights into their faith in Jesus Christ through their spirituality, leadership, service, professionalism, vocational ministry, and work to build up the Body of Christ. We are delighted to have Kathryn Whitaker moderating a panel discussion during the Annual Convention with Sister Grace-Marie Heinrich of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary; and Sister Maria Miguel Wright of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist; and Hannah Haddad of the Diocesan Office of Life, Marriage, and Family.
