Father Peter is a truly gifted retreat master and preacher who can plumb the depths of St Faustina's diary with such clarity and power. His humility, his depth, his gentle humor, his profound understanding of St Faustina's spirituality and his ability to transmit Our Lord's message of Mercy through her is truly inspired. He speaks of her writings with such familiarity, as though he speaks about a friend. We are all devoted to the Divine Mercy Chaplet but when one learns the theology behind the Chaplet he explains through the messages in her diary, it inspires one to prayerfully read St Faustina's diary with fresh eyes.
Because he was the former chaplain of the sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and a member of the Congregation of the St Michael the Archangel, his expertise lies in a deep familiarity with St Faustina and a great knowledge of the archangels and the nine choirs of angels. He often weaves into his talks St Faustina’s relationship with St Michael and the holy angels that were around her to protect her sacred mission. On a side note, Fr Peter’s community, the Congregation of St Michael is the custodian to the Shrine of St Michael the Archangel in Gargano, Italy where St Michael the Archangel appeared to a bishop in 493 and consecrated a nearby cave.
