Oktoberfest, Emmaus in Lakeway

The Knights of Columbus at Emmaus Parish in Lakeway will host Oktoberfest on Oct. 28 from 6 to 10 p.m. A favorite festival of the late Pope Benedict XVI, this celebration of Bavarian culture offers German (and Czech) comfort food, beverages, and dancing to the polka beat of the fabulous Czechaholics, a South Central Texas band known for their fusion of contemporary and traditional polka music.
