Pastoral Migratoria seeks to share its experience of working with the Hispanic/Latino faith community with diocesan and pastoral personnel. Pastoral Migratoria forms leaders to become “actors of their own development” (Aparecida document, 2007) and respond to the needs of their parish communities through service, justice, and accompaniment actions. Immigration was identified by the V Encuentro process as a critical issue affecting Hispanics and Pastoral Migratoria was featured as a ‘best practice’ response by V Encuentro’s Proceedings and Conclusions Document.
