A Webinar for Survivors and Those Who Care for Them
In this third and final presentation in the series on grooming we will finally look at what grooming is. We will look at the stages of the grooming process, and the mindset of offenders as they engage in grooming behaviors, and the thoughts and emotions that their victims often feel along the way. This will lead to a discussion of victim blaming where we will consider some of the most common biological and evolutionary factors which bias and predispose families and other social institutions towards the heinous and perverse act of placing blame and suspicion on victims rather than on perpetrators where it properly belongs.
