These are adult formation classes open to all those in ministry and anyone with the desire to learn more about the faith. This five-session program offers a general introduction to the theological principles found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Topics include Introduction to Scripture, Creed, Liturgy and Sacraments, Christian Morality, and Prayer/Spirituality. (30-hour course)

Join us for our virtual spring Youth Ministry Summit, "You Can’t Inspire Without the Fire,” a personal reflection on prayer and contagious spirituality. The presentation will invite each one of us to examine and grow in our relationship with the Lord.   We have invited Joe Roueche to lead us in this reflection. Drawing from his vast experience on the parish, archdiocesan and national levels, Joe brings a one-of-a-kind background to his messages which energize, enliven, and equip. Joe served on staff with NET Ministries for over 20 years and continues to share his wisdom through his work with ministry leaders and youth. 

The Francis Network is open to lay leadership in Catholic parishes and organizations in the Diocese of Austin, as well as priests, pastors, deacons and religious in the Diocese of Austin.

Ascend, the Diocese of Austin’s emerging leaders program, is an initiative to identify, develop and support young leaders under the age of 40 in the diocese and the communities in its borders. This is the final closing session of Asend.

The Basic Teachings of the Catholic Faith Program offers a general introduction to the theological principles found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This program serves as the first step in basic adult formation for all ministry groups that seek evangelization and catechetical certification. The class is presented in five sessions (6 clock hours of instruction each). Topics include Introduction to Scripture, Creed, Liturgy and Sacraments, Christian Morality, and Prayer/Spirituality.
