9 Days for Life is a novena for the protection of human life that occurs each January. Each day’s intention is accompanied by a short reflection and suggested actions to help build a culture of life.

40 Days for Life is a springtime volunteer-based prayer campaign that draws attention to the injustice of abortion through three simple avenues: Prayer and fasting, community outreach/education and a constant peaceful vigil.

The Baby Banks Campaign is intended to support the various ministries sponsored by the Diocesan Office of Life, Marriage and Family. These life-affirming ministries and efforts include The Gabriel Project, Project Rachel, the Pro-Life Help Line, Sidewalk Ministry and awareness and education on pro-life issues as well as additional support for parochial pro-life ministries as needed.
The Baby Bank Campaign takes place during October and is facilitated through each parish. Information for parishes can be found here.

Catholic Advocacy Day is a biennial event where Catholics, including lay faithful, priests, bishops and religious life members from around the Lone Star State, come together at the Texas State Capitol in Austin “to promote life, dignity, and the common good.” The next Catholic Advocacy Day is in 2025.

Texas Catholic Pro-Life Day is a day dedicated to praying for an End to Abortion and a Restoration of the Dignity of Human Life. The next pro-life day is Jan. 25, 2025. The day includes a rosary and Mass at 9 a.m. at three local parishes, followed by the Texas Rally for Life in downtown Austin.

Walking With Mom's In NeedPregnant and parenting moms in need are in our parishes and our neighborhoods. Project RachelProject Rachel is a healing ministry for those who suffer as a result of a previous abortion experience. There is a training process to become involved in different volunteer roles.
