Applicant Criteria

Please check ALL applicable criteria REQUIRED Latino/a Bilingual, Spanish and English Priest ordained within the last five (5) years Priest appointed as a pastor within the last five (5) years Priest who has transferred from another country to become a pastor in the United States within the last five (5) years Lay ecclesial ministers who are preparing to or have recently stepped into a senior pastoral role in a parish, diocese, or ecclesial movement Pastoral leaders in key ministerial transitions, taking on a new pastoral role as leader of a parish, parish ministry, or an ecclesial movement for the first time Please fill out this field.

Time Commitment

If selected as a cohort participant of the Latino Pastoral Leaders Initiative, the time commitment for participants will include in-person and online gatherings as well as reading and reflection time between sessions. These include the following activities between November 2021 and August 2022:

• Sending-Forth Ceremony – 3 hours
• Introduction and Overview Session – 1 hour
• Launch and Orientation Session – 4 hours
• Monthly Peer Group Coaching Session – 90 minutes
• Monthly session for Leadership and Management Development – 2 hours
• One half-day session to introduce specific program in person – 2 hours
• Two-day sessions to introduce specific programs – 6 hours each
• Integration Session – 1 day
