Shelley Metcalf

Shelley is the Director of the Catholic Spirit, the diocese’s monthly magazine. She also publishes The Weekly Update, which is a bulletin service for parishes, and manages the online digital newspaper.

Shelley holds a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Journalism from Texas A&M University. She is the mother of two and a parishioner of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Cedar Park. She teaches third and fourth grade religious education, loves to read and has worked at the Diocese of Austin for more than 27 years.
