People who are imprisoned are still made in the image and likeness of God. No matter what people have done, they deserve the opportunity to seek and find the Truth of Christ. Restorative Justice is a principled approach to achieving justice that emphasizes living in right-relationship and resonates deeply with Gospel values and Catholic Social Teaching.
In recent years, Restorative Justice has set aside a day to reflect on ministry to the incarcerated.
Continuing that tradition, ministers and volunteers are invited to participate in this Day of Reflection.
Join Deacon Tim Hayden, Associate Director of Restorative Justice Ministry, and the Restorative Justice Ministry team as we both explore and reflect upon the many ways in which our encounters may help offenders discover the good news of the Gospel and how such encounters can transform their lives.
