Girls Just Want to Have Fun: Women's Day of Reflection

Donna Hughes, the President of the Austin Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and the Diocesan Office of Life, Marriage, and Family have partnered to provide days for women to reflect on their indispensable role in the mission of the Church (cf. Apostolicam Actuositatem, 1). 

God created mankind in his image and likeness, he made man and woman, and he called us good. We reference these ideas off-handedly quite frequently, but what does that actually mean for us in our day-to-day lives? Specifically, how do these deeply interconnected and foundational concepts affect the way we live out our femininity in big and little ways? Join us for our first Women's Day of Reflection to unpack what it means to be Women made in the Image of God.
